FAQ quality-plus system

1. What is a quality-plus system?

Naktuinbouw has developed two quality-plus systems; Naktuinbouw Elite (for individually tested and disease free propagating material produced in a pyramid system and maintained under controlled conditions) and Select Plant (for lots of propagating material of exceptional health/quality). Participation is voluntary.

2. What is EMT?

EMT Naktuinbouw is a sampling and testing accreditation scheme for laboratories that take samples and run tests. The test results of Naktuinbouw EMT accredited laboratories are used to safeguard the health of propagating material for Naktuinbouw Elite-certification, Select Plant-certification and Naktuinbouw standard inspections.

3. What is NAL?

NAL is an accreditation system for private seed laboratories. The purpose of the system is achieving, maintaining and recognising the required levels of reliability in the seed laboratory. Standards are very high, which must be expressed in a high level of effectiveness and efficiency.
